PHOENICIA. Tyre. ‘Uzzimilk, circa 347-332 BC. Shekel (Silver, 20 mm, 8.90 g, 12 h), RY 15 = 335/4. Bearded male deity, holding reins in his right hand and bow in his left, riding hippocamp right above two lines of waves; below, dolphin swimming right. Rev. O (' in Phoenician) Owl standing right, head facing; in background, crook and flail; to right, - above IIIII (date). E&E-T Group II.2.1.26. HGC 10, 349. Nicely toned. Some horn silver on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
